Keleher & McLeod Announces Selection of Honorees for UNM Law Professorships

Keleher & McLeod, P.A., together with the University of New Mexico Law School, recently announced the names of honorees for its sponsored Professorship for the terms, 2011-2013 and 2012-2014.

With deep roots in the State of New Mexico, Keleher & McLeod is uniquely New Mexican. More than half of its current roster of attorneys graduated from the University of New Mexico School of Law and the firm maintains a significant presence throughout the state. Keleher & McLeod's Professorship was the first to be endowed at the law school.

The Professorship is awarded by the Dean of UNM Law School for excellence in teaching to a law professor whose intellectual capability, personal motivation and scholarly commitment merit this prestigious recognition. The award includes a stipend to further the research of honored professors at the UNM School of Law.

There have now been fifteen law faculty members who have earned this Professorship since its establishment in 1989.

The current honorees are Professors Reed Benson (2011-2013) and Sergio Pareja (2012-2014). Professors Benson and Pareja were feted at a recent reception at the Keleher & McLeod offices on Albuquerque Plaza.
